Pauline Deltour creates exquisite desk accessories for Böwer
Office desk organisers are probably the most functional furniture accessories, that operate with clean lines, durable materials, and are minimalist to the maximum as here there is no space for superfluous detailing. All these characteristics are true for Charlie, Pauline Detour’s office collection as well, yet the sharp edges and flat surfaces still somehow carry an air of sensuality behind the aesthetic purity. The young French designer’s portfolio is full of minimal, stark objects, that are feminine in an underlying way.
For the office accessories line, she collaborated with German interior/furniture studio Böwer, who are engaged in composing top-notch, precise, cleaned-up, and beautiful interiors. The Charlie will most definitely fit in any Böwer space, as they are made from elm and coloured glass of highest quality, and are tastefully sparse in form. The collection includes various organisers, a letter tray, pens, a pen box, and following the trend of times, a tablet holder.
