Nendo releases compact emergency kit MINIM+AID
The idea of a compact and absolutely utility-based object is highly compatible already in itself with Nendo’s design language, who love to combine maximum and innovative functionality with minimal, no-fuss design. The MINIMUM+AID kit is wrapped in a sleek tube, that contains the bare minimum of accessories city-dwellers might need until they find shelter in case a disaster strikes in, i.e. a whistle for signalling one’s presence, a radio that also works as a phone-charger, a plastic container for storing essentials like medicine or tape, a raincoat, a lantern, and a pouch of drinking water with a cup-lid.
All this fits into a surprisingly compact, elongated container that can be placed in the umbrella holder near the apartment door, and grabbed in a minute when on the run. The shoulder-straps allow for easy carrying, and its waterproof material and featherlight weight make sure it would survive in watery situations as well.
