BAUX introduces new 'Plank' tile
BAUX, Swedish creative group Form Us With Love’s brainchild specialised in acoustic solutions, released a new addition to its tiles line. Just like all the other pieces by BAUX, i.e. the panels, the 3D pixels, and the other tiles, the Plank is also made from the eco-friendly combination of wood wool, cement, and water. The mixture is not only recyclable and serenely organic-looking, but more importantly, it provides excellent acoustic insulation.
Just like the name suggests, the Plank is a simple, narrow rectangle, that though looks basic, can be combined up to a great variety of creative patterns, from herringbone through basket wave to diagonal brick patterns. Of course, it can also be matched with other, already existing tiles of hexagonal, circular, or triangular shapes. Its geometry and gleamy, natural surface was inspired by the traditional wood, parquet, and bricklaying, making Plank suitable for modern and elegant interiors.
