"Taste the colors" at Monaco's pop-up Pantone Cafe
Guests can take the motto of ‘taste the colors!” literally at Monaco’s most recent pop-up cafe. Created by Pantone, the drinks and snacks served are organised along Lawrence Herbert’s colour scheme from 1963. Cocktails, soft drinks, sandwiches, salads, and snacks all have a matching colour slip and name with code, based on of course their physical-visual qualities.
Aperol Spritz is a vibrant orange, mineral water is aqua blue, éclair is a dark chocolate brown, and so on. Accessories and other interior design elements are of course coordinated with the refreshments served: folding chairs, trays, napkins, and the shop’s facade operate with saturated Pantone hues as well. As a one-time venture, the Pantone Café is open until September 9, on the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
