Flat tables by Jo Nagasaka
Jo Nagasaka’s Flat Tables project explores the modern solutions for abandoned objects with a poetic re-purposing technique.
The artist takes found workstations and tabletops and renews them with a layer of colorful epoxy resin in order to highlight the textures of the woods. The history of the past users is preserved within cuts, scratches and abrasions. The series was on the view at Gallery Libby Sellers, London until 15 August 2014.
