House by Pascal Flammer
The cube breaks the architectural conventions with its somewhat switched proportions: the delicate, fully glazed base is covered with an oversized, heavy, black roof. The house features a simple, toned down interior of raw wooden floors and walls with built-in furniture. The ground level, fully open to the surrounding nature, is the perfect family spot with its cozy living room and its open-plan kitchen and dining room. The pitched roof upper floor is divided into four rooms with ceilings of 6 meters high. Each one connects with nature by means of large openings.
