Brand Guide introduces Singapore's creative scene
Singapore-based Foreign Policy Design Group published their first Brand Guide for their hometown. Intended to be a regular publication, this first edition introduces 17 brands from the local scene that is currently undergoing a “design golden age”. The charming, scrapbook-like brochure includes takeaways, anecdotes, pullouts, and notes mismatching in size and colour. This eclectic (but only on the surface, in fact thoroughly edited) layout aims to illustrate the visionary, constructive force bursting behind the curtains of each company. Maintaining a healthy balance between content and visuals, Brand Guide: Singapore Edition focuses on introducing the inspiration and creative process of designers as opposed to the dryness of brand reports. The first issue is available to buy online, and hopefully it will be followed soon by a new publication.
