IVANKA continues global expansion with Israeli showroom
The opening event hosted the “The most promising architect, interior designer, and product designer awards”, coordinated by BVD Magazine, the most prominent local design media platform. The ceremony was supported by Shimon Peres, former Israeli prime minister, and Galit Gaon, chief curator of Design Museum Holon. The prestigious company already suggests that IVANKA’s opening goes beyond design and sales interests; the expansion to the Near East can trigger Israeli-Hungarian economic relations. Although IVANKA has been present in 40 countries already, having an own, permanent space means a huge step in the company’s global expansion.
Concrete is commonly perceived as an industrial material. For over a decade now, IVANKA has been working on transforming this concept by searching and expanding its boundaries. The multi-faceted potential of flaster tiles, panels, and orto coverings led them to collaborate with partners like Holcim, Liberty’s, Harvey Nichols, BMW, and Saint Laurent Paris.
