Tokyo and My Daughter by Takashi Homma
The book ‘Tokyo and my Daughter’ contains 32 color images of a young girl from birth to the age of six mixed with images from the Japanese metropolis by acclaimed Tokyo-based photographer Takashi Homma (1962). His photographic style can be described as soft. In his works Homma eliminates dramatic effects and a result the photographs are often characterized as real. The artist focuses on portraying the modern-day metropolis that is both picturesque and complex.
