The multi-media installation consists of six large screens and shows the conflict situation in Congo that has been shot with infrared film that was designed for camouflage detection.
The result was a vibrant magenta coloured view of the war zones that have been shown in additional photographs during this exhibition. In the year of 2012, Richard Mosse and his collaborators Trevor Tweeten and Ben Frost have travelled in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Enclave is the culmination of Mosse’s attempt to rethink war photography.
