Skinned is a fabric collection of fragile molds casted in different spots around Amsterdam. Any part of a building or space can be copied into foldable skins. These pieces by means of captured dirt show individual charachter of the original place. Once exhibited, they get a structural meaning and gain a whole new character. They take us to a world in which places are nomad and therefore no longer fixed to specific locations. Some of them are almost wearable. This project was executed within the master Vacant NL at the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam.
